Dr. Diana Zhou, podiatrist
She obtained her doctorate in podiatric medicine from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières. She is a member of the Ordre des podiatres du Québec and holds a radiology and ultrasound license.
Prior to working as a podiatrist, she spent 6 years as an occupational therapist in private practice and in the healthcare system. She worked with children and adolescents with intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders and coordination disorders. Throughout her career, she has completed humanitarian internships in Peru and Haiti. Passionate about children's motor development and physical activity, her interest in biomechanics led her to podiatric medicine.
Having practiced artistic gymnastics and high-level flying trapeze, she has a particular interest in sports medicine. During her university studies, she completed a multitude of internships to deepen her skills in pediatrics and sports podiatry. She also completed an internship in a hospital environment at the Centre hospitalier régional de Lanaudière (CHRDL) to acquire knowledge in complex wound care and diabetic foot care. Her concern for evidence-based practice led her to work on various research projects in podiatric medicine during her university studies.
Gifted with human qualities and an eye for details, she will be able to take care of your pain with a patient-centered approach. She is dedicated to helping her patients achieve their health goals.
